<p>Instead, an administrator is assigned at the public guardian office who makes those decisions.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>&#8220;Losing control over one&#8217;s finances is massive,&#8221; said Brandon Trask, an assistant professor who teaches a law and disability course at the University of Manitoba&#8217;s faculty of law.</p>
