Bison hockey playoffs begin
February 16, 2016 —
The University of Manitoba Bison men's hockey team hits the ice this weekend for playoff action against the Calgary Dinos. The best-of-three playoff series starts on February 19 at 7pm for game one. Game two is on February 20 at 7pm. If necessary, game three will be play on February 21 at 3PM.

The University of Manitoba Bison volleyball teams wraps up their regular season home games at Investors Group Athletic Centre this weekend. The Bison men are in third place in Canada West standings with a 16-and-4 record. They have won ten of 11 home matches so far this season.

The Manitoba Bisons won the 25th annual Duckworth Challenge against the University of Winnipeg Wesmen after a split of basketball matches over the weekend. The Bison women were defeated 69-64 by Winnipeg but the Bison men's basketball won 79-65 over Winnipeg to clinch this season's Duckworth Challenge title for Manitoba.

The University of Manitoba Bison men's basketball team crushed the Regina Cougars over the weekend. They won on the road 89-82 on Friday and 77-63 on Saturday night.

Home ice this weekend

The University of Manitoba Bison men and women's hockey teams hit the ice against the Saskatchewan Huskies this weekend. The women, play Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 4pm. They're 10-and-12 on the season and look to bounce back after a couple of loses in Lethbridge last weekend.

It's back to home ice for the Bison women's hockey team this weekend. The women start their two-weekend home stand against Lethbridge on Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 1pm at Wayne Fleming Arena.
