Clinical psychology graduate program to double

August 2, 2023 — 
On July 21, the Province of Manitoba announced it will invest $412,000 to double the number of seats in the clinical psychology graduate program beginning in fall 2024. This is the first significant increase in student seats to this program in decades and will do much to help fill the urgent need for clinical psychologists in Manitoba.

Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, invests 10 Officers (O.C.) and 13 Members (C.M.). into the Order of Canada during a ceremony at Rideau Hall on 6 May 2022. The Order of Canada is one of our country’s highest honours. Appointments are made for sustained achievement at three levels: Companion, Officer and Member. Officers and Members may be elevated within the Order in recognition of further achievements, based on continued exceptional or extraordinary service to Canada. Newest Order of Canada appointees include six UM community members
