October 28, 2022 —  One third-year law student is having a most extraordinary start to her legal career. One month in to her last year of law school at Robson Hall, Edvanny Silva Burns (3L) found herself having to tune up her cello to perform in the backing orchestra for the Michael Bublé concert that rolled through Winnipeg on October 7th.

October 28, 2022 —  It is with profound sadness that our department announces the loss of Dr. Fred Shore, who passed away late last night peacefully at home with his beloved Lucy by his side.

October 28, 2022 —  Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is a treatment reserved for the most severe cases of depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Positive results are not guaranteed. Could genetic insight in the form of a patient’s “polygenic risk score” help to predict whether electroconvulsive therapy will be effective for that patient?
