January 23, 2023 —  The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Support Fund provides opportunities for UM professors, instructors, and librarians to engage in projects that increase knowledge in pedagogy and learning. After two years of preparation and consultation with community members, students, faculty members, and instructors, the revised curriculum was approved by UM Senate in April 2022 and is set to be implemented over the next two years starting this Fall.

January 20, 2023 —  The Master of Human Rights program’s annual Practicum Symposium took place on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. The symposium gives students enrolled in the interdisciplinary graduate degree’s practicum stream an opportunity to present their major research papers and share experiences working at their respective placement sites.

Erica Charters currently leads a multidisciplinary project on How Epidemics End.
