November 14, 2023 —  For 17 years, Indigenous Business Education Partners (IBEP) at the Asper School of Business has hosted the Visionary Indigenous Business (VIBE) Awards, recognizing the achievements of Indigenous businesses, business leaders and entrepreneurs in Manitoba. The 2023 VIBE Award recipients are Dreamcatcher Promotions and La Brasserie Nonsuch Brewing Co.

November 10, 2023 —  After coming from Zimbabwe, South Africa, Tawana came to the University of Manitoba in 2019, where she founded the College's Residence. In settling into a new life in Canada, Tawana felt at home when she walked into the doors of the College. Seeing the space she had in her room, quickly meeting friends in the food hall, and learning the opportunities available at the University, Tawana was excited for what was to come.

Access to Justice begins with understanding : Network News

November 10, 2023 —  The fourth National Access to Justice week took place October 23 – 27, 2023. This year’s theme was centred around the 10th Anniversary of Canada’s Justice Development Goals. In Manitoba, the Faculty of Law, the Law Society of Manitoba and the Manitoba Bar Association joined forces to present a full week of events. For its part, the Faculty of Law hosted a hybrid panel discussion on Tuesday, October 24, titled Access to Justice in French: A World to Discover.
