October 23, 2025 —  Mayor Earl Funk added that Brandon University is ready to partner with the Max Rady College of Medicine at the University of Manitoba to create a “rural stream” for medical training, provided the province invests in the program.

New nurses ready to ‘dive right in’ : Network News

October 23, 2025 —  The College of Nursing welcomed 97 new nurses to the profession at a pinning ceremony on Oct. 22, the day after the bachelor of nursing students graduated at convocation. Twenty-eight students from the college’s graduate programs also crossed the convocation stage to receive their degrees, including 20 graduates from the nurse practitioner program.
