June 24, 2024 —  Dr. Jillian Stobart from the College of Pharmacy has been awarded the Alzheimer Society Research Program New Investigator Grant of $200,000, over four years, from the Alzheimer Society of Canada and Research Manitoba.

The Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals in Management are awarded to the Asper School of Business graduates with the highest, second-highest and third-highest degree grade point average, respectively.

June 23, 2024 —  Researchers from the University of Manitoba and the University of British Columbia have secured a $250,000 grant from the Government of Canada through the New Frontiers in Research Fund (Exploration) to lead a groundbreaking project aimed at developing new treatments for gastrointestinal (GI) diseases. The University of Alberta is also involved as a partner.
