Municipal guide for disability inclusion launches on UN Day, championing change : Network News
November 25, 2025 — Active Abilities Canada and the Canadian Disability Participation Project 2.0 are launching the Municipal Guide for Disability Inclusion in Recreation and Physical Activity to coincide with International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) on December 3.

The Conversation: Calls for grizzly hunts to return to Western Canada oversimplify a complex ecological issue : UM in the News
November 25, 2025 — Highly publicized grizzly bear attacks have ignited calls to reopen grizzly trophy hunts across Western Canada. The most recent push came from the B.C. Wildlife Federation, a conservation and hunting advocacy organization that called for a hunting season on grizzlies after a bear attacked a group of schoolchildren in Bella Coola, B.C., leaving two people critically injured and two others seriously hurt.
