Campus Life program celebrates 20 years : Health matters: people and planet

March 25, 2025 —  This year marks a significant milestone for the University of Manitoba's Campus Life program as it celebrates two decades of fostering inclusivity and diversity within the academic community.

March 24, 2025 —  The Manitoba government released its budget on March 20, which includes a 2 per cent increase to the University of Manitoba’s operating grant and allows for a 3.5 per cent increase in tuition for the 2025-26 academic year.

Geese Are Back: Respecting Wildlife on Campus : Network News

March 24, 2025 —  As spring arrives, so do the geese! These familiar campus residents are returning to the Fort Garry campus, where they share space with students, staff, and faculty. While geese are accustomed to human activity, they can be territorial during nesting season. To ensure peaceful coexistence, observe geese from a distance, respect posted nesting signs, and never feed or antagonize them.

From Nigeria to the Stage: How Theatre Changed My Life : Network News

March 24, 2025 —  Student Dola Akintan hopes that when people watch Our Country’s Good, they don’t just see a play. She hopes they feel the weight of history, the power of storytelling, and the reminder that theatre—like life—is about more than just survival. The production runs April 2-5 at the John J. Conklin Theatre and is presented by the Department of English, Theatre, Film & Media's Theatre Program.
